Returns & Refunds Policy

At Alira - Boutique, we are committed to complying with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and providing a fair, transparent experience for our customers.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a remedy if a product:

  • Is faulty or damaged

  • Is significantly different from its description

  • Is not fit for its intended purpose

Where required by law, we will offer a refund, replacement, or repair, depending on the nature of the issue.


Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at:

Please include clear photos or videos so we can assess the issue promptly. Once confirmed, we’ll arrange the appropriate remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law.


Change of Mind Returns

Amora – Byron Bay does not offer refunds for change of mind, including (but not limited to):

  • Incorrect size selection

  • Preference changes

  • Ordering the wrong item

This is permitted under Australian Consumer Law.

At our discretion, we may offer a store credit for eligible change-of-mind requests if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The item is unused, unworn, and in original packaging

  • The request is made within 14 days of delivery

  • Proof of purchase is provided

Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless faulty under ACL:

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Personal care or hygiene products

  • Custom or personalised items

  2. If approved, we’ll provide return instructions

  3. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted


Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return has been received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing may take up to 10 business days

  • Banks and payment providers may require additional time to reflect the refund

If it has been more than 15 business days since approval, please contact us.
